Opium Crisis in the United States

The opium crisis is the deadliest country spread issue at the moment. People are getting addicted to opioids in medication or any street drug that acts as heroin but can sometimes be fatal. When people are on opioids they need a bigger dose each time and it leads to death very quickly. Fentanyl is the most common and it is very addictive and it results in death almost each time. The issue used to be the over-prescription of opium in pills and people were addicted without even knowing. Now the issue is on drug related deaths involving heroin and fentanyl.

Mainly the Midwest and the UK are dealing with most overdose deaths. The majority of deaths were from white people but now it's hard to say.

It is being declared a national emergency and insurance plans are trying to exclude in patient drug care.

It's important to not be involved in any drug use as some things can be synthetic and be made into more dangerous than they can be. As with most fentanyl deaths.
