Sometimes when we cheat we don't realize that it's a temporary gain. Later on it'll catch up eventually. In general it's better to just take the L and lose if you have no other way of doing it. I hate cheating it makes me feel bad and it never actually matters. I think school wise I'd rather learn the assignment than actually do it and turn it in. It tends to be better for me and my grades go kind of low but I think as long as I do the assignment that I'm better off. I rather fail than keep the A that literally isnt even mine but its someone elses. Cheating just never really seems worth it.

Cheating can only guarantee a small amount of success but at a bad cost. Cheating in sports is terrible for the sole reason of everyone else who worked harder than you loses. You shortcut your way to your goal but you didn't actually get there yourself. So in reality it wasn't you winning anyways. When athletes use steroids there usually is a clouded amount of pressure on them to succeed. When you look at sports as you HAVE to succeed no matter what it kind of takes the point of sports away. I get that it's a career but in any job if you cheat you get fired and you're looked as less than. So many people want to be in a major league for every sport. They work extremely hard to make themselves be the best they can be and you worked your way up to that level up until you cheated. So not only do you undermine your teammates hard work and effort but you ruin your own effort.

When you cheat you don't ever really feel good about succeeding. It just kind of feels bad. Cheating also undermines everyone else work. When you cheat you're trying to succeed like everyone else. But that doesn't mean everyone else is cheating too so it isn't right. It really makes everyone's hard work almost worthless because you decided to take a short cut. It isn't fair to everyone else who worked harder than you to get at their level. It really isn't worth the "success" at all. In the end you wouldn't even win because you never put in that effort.
