"It's a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time." -Coach Pam Knox
I think the softball game was very meaningful. It meant so much to make the homerun and evryone supported her doing it. Sarah had never hit a home run in her life or in her career. IN her final game she finally hit the ball over the fence and was able to do a homerun. It meant a lot to her because she had injured something in her leg and she could barely move it and pivot it around. It was very disheartening to see it. Yet the rules said that no one on her team can touch Sarah. And once the opposing team took notice that she could not make it to the homerun as she was on first base when th einjury happened they took actio. Mallory and Liz both agreed to carry Sarah to the remaining bases and help her make the homerun. Once she made it it was very tearful. I think it was very amazing to see. It must take a lot of goodness in someone to help the opposing team make the score. And all because they thought Sarah deserved it.
