Duties and Responsibilities: Psychiatric Aides help people with mental ilnesses/disorders to help them with tasks that are difficult for them. They help them manage self care and they help group therapies and group activities in usually hospitals.
Salary: $28,430
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Demand for this particular career: High number of mentally ill population.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why or why not?
I don't think I'd do too well in this field. I don't really like being in charge of other people. I'd be interested but I have bad rehabilitation skills.
