I think when you have courage in your decisions you are able to make the best ones and consider the effects better. When you actively decide to do good you're ignoring the selfish gain of doing bad. That takes a lot of courage. Sometimes you might slip up but what's important is that you catch yourself doing it and you stop. That's really hard and you need a lot of self awareness and courage. Just because it's the easy way to go it doesn't mean it is the exact way to go about things. So when you avoid a lot of negative obstacles you are pretty strong and courageous because it takes guts to do things like that.
