The 3 questions
1. Can people trust me to do what's right?
2. Am I committed to doing my very best?
3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
"If the answer to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail." -Lou Holtz
I think the word failing is very subjective. If you worked really hard on something or put a lot of effort into anything and you don't achieve the results you wanted, you didn't fail. Failing means to have no regard or applying no importance to something or someone. If we don't acknowledge our effort or behavior we dismiss all the meaning put into it whether we fail or not. When you have that reputation to do what is right it can really benefit you in the long run. People want to feel safe and secure in others and when you fit in that category it makes it so much easier on them. It's kind of going with like a 90% or 10% chance. Of coursed you'd go with the 90%!
